01Nexelem lets you plan production across many machines, departments and production processes. Because processes are modelled as a graph, the system understands how each product relates to its raw materials and can flag potential problems caused by component shortages before they reach the line. Nexelem is a set of functional modules that can be combined into one comprehensive production management system, or run in a single, separate area of the business if that is all you need.
Our production management software is also a fully fledged MES. It communicates with machines and collects the data needed to calculate key performance indicators such as OEE and TEEP, so management always has an objective view of production performance. Lemma Machines, our own retrofit device, connects older machines with no data interface of their own to the MES, without the need for expensive PLCs.
Industry 4.0
Once Nexelem is connected to your machines, the **maintenance team** gets real-time information on the status of each machine or production line. Depending on the IoT sensor fitted, that can range from a simple notification that a machine is running to more detailed readings such as spindle speed, temperature or other measurements specific to a given line. In line with Industry 4.0, Nexelem can be configured in many ways to deliver the information that matters for running production and making sound business decisions across the plant and its supply chain.
Deliver on time
In Nexelem, the production plan is calculated against the customer’s required delivery date. This makes it one of the few production management systems that support the sales team directly: at the quoting stage, the salesperson gets an estimated completion date based on the current production schedule. The same logic supports decision-making on the shop floor and helps you manage stock levels in the production warehouse.
